MAKE YOUR FIRST LIGHT COUNT
1. Always trim your candle wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. This prevents black soot from developing and helps the candle to burn evenly.
2. On your first burn ensure that your candle burns long enough for the melt pool to reach the sides of the container as this will help to prevent tunnelling and make the most out of your overall candle burn time.
3. Burn your candle for no longer than 3-4 hours at a time on a heat proof surface. This helps to maintain an even melt pool and prevent tunnelling.
4. Store your candle in a cool, dry place that is away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the fragrance and colour.
5. Ensure that you do not burn your candle down to the very bottom to prevent overheating. Why not clean out your jar and re purpose it as a decoration or storage.
6. Never leave the room when your candle is lit. Always supervise when children and pets are around. Ensure that your candle is away from drafts.
